Lip Injections

Thanks to Kylie Jenner lip injections have hit an all time high! Seems like everyone is wanting to get their lips done.

Rachel Imperato, Nurse Practitioner attends many different trainings each year and is always trying to find new techniques that are easier on our patients and involve less downtime.

The last several months she has been perfecting her technique of doing lip injections with a cannula. A cannula is a blunt needle that easily pushes the product where she needs it without multiple pokes to the lips and was recently approved by the FDA. In fact, she only uses a needle on the corners of the mouth and feeds the cannula through it. This technique involves less bruising, swelling, downtime and is much safer than needle injections. Our patients are loving their results!

Dysport for Sweating

Do you deal with embarrassing underarm sweating or excessive sweating to other places on the body, also known as hyperhidrosis? Did you know Dysport can help with that?

Dysport helps with much more than just lines and wrinkles or helping us look younger, it can also greatly reduce sweating on the body. Underarms are the most popular treatment but also the palms of your hands, soles of your feet, and face or anywhere that you are dealing with this issue. This is something you can do in the summer or year round if needed, it can also help with body odor as well.

Who is a candidate for this treatment?

This treatment is typically recommended for people who have tried everything but cannot get relief — even with the strongest antiperspirants or medication.

How Long Will The Treatment Take? How Many Treatments Are Needed?

The treatment itself takes approximately 15 minutes in the office. Repeat injections can be done as often as you would like.

How long does the treatment last?

The effects of Dysport injections usually last approximately 3 to 4 months. Although, some patients are free of excessive sweating for more than 7 months to a year.
